Friends of Santa Rosa Veterans Treatment Court is a group of veterans and civilians who have a heart for veterans for whom past military experiences coupled with life’s challenges and law enforcement involvement, have derailed their mission of wellness.
The innate military camaraderie that occurs when veterans assist other veterans is the cornerstone of the charity. This 501C3 was created to address the unique needs of veterans who have had an interaction with the law resulting in an arrest and are living with service-related mental illness and/or substance use issues.
This recovery-oriented system of support also helps veterans by filling short-term, temporary financial gaps that may be barriers to success. Friends of Santa Rosa Veterans Treatment Court supports mentor and staff training and registered veterans actively participating in this problem-solving treatment court.
